Coronavirus (COVID-19): Community Update #2

As we continue to monitor the rapidly developing situation surrounding the transmission of coronavirus (COVID-19), we want our community to know we are taking extra steps to ensure your health and safety.

We are reducing our hours to align with the malls where applicable. We will be refunding any sessions that are impacted by this change. The following hour changes are taking effect immediately:

LAUFT Upper Canada Mall:

Monday to Friday: 10am to 9pm

Saturday: 9am to 9am

Sunday: 11am-7pm

LAUFT Vaughan Mills:

Monday to Saturday: 11am-7pm

Sunday: 11am to 5pm

LAUFT Georgian Mall:

Monday to Friday: 9:30am to 9pm

Saturday: 9:30am to 6pm

Sunday: 11am to 5pm

LAUFT Metro Centre:

Monday to Friday – 9am to 5pm

We are also reducing the capacity for our workspaces. In efforts to increase social distancing, we are removing half of the chairs in our workspaces. This will help increase the distance between each worker in accordance with recommended guidelines

We advise reducing the capacity in our meeting rooms to 2 people and our offices to 1 person. Should you require additional seating, we will provide chairs, but do recommend trying to limit your interactions to very small groups. We are also taking the steps to cancel all bookings of our workshop or boardroom space until further notice.

We recommend continuing to practice excellent hygiene. Wash hands regularly for 20 seconds. Cough and sneeze into your elbow (cough pocket). Do not touch your face. Avoid gatherings with more than 50 people.

We continue to encourage our community to follow the guidance of health authorities. The most critical goal is to flatten the curve to support our healthcare system with the best option being to stay home when possible. However, if you require the services that LAUFT represents to continue some important work – know that we are here to support.. As recent days have demonstrated, many issues are quickly materializing that may impact how we conduct day-to-day business. We are committed to maintaining our services for as long as it is safe to do so for both our team and you as a valued supporter. We continue to monitor this situation and will provide updates and guidance as they become available.

Thank you for your valued support.
